Shenandoah University has announced the 50 individuals who were selected for the 2024 Global Citizenship Project (GCP). Those individuals will travel to one of five international destinations during spring break in March 2024. Participants will learn their destinations and trip leaders at International Convocation on Nov. 15. Since its inaugural year in 2005, the Global Citizenship Project has sent approximately 1,000 members of the university community to 68 international and domestic destinations so that each person might learn more about the world and themselves. Shenandoah University's baseball team was named a 2022-23 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award winner for the seventh straight season.

Six Shenandoah University women's lacrosse players were named to the 2023 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll, while the Hornets as a team were among the 289 programs across all NCAA divisions to be recognized as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad.
