Shenandoah Football Has 13 Named To NFF Hampshire Honor Society

Shenandoah University's football program had 13 student-athletes named to the 2025 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society in selections announced by the NFF on April 21. Shenandoah is one of only 44 NCAA Division III institutions - and one of 97 schools across all divisions nationwide - to have 10 or more student-athletes recognized in this year's prestigious group. In all, a record 2,514 college football players were named to the 2025 NFF Hampshire Honor Society. Shenandoah's honorees are Ethan Brown, Dominic Gulli, Braden Holt, Steven Hugney, Corey Kidwell, Nate Lednum, David Munoz, DeMarcus Perry, Quante Redd, Nolan Riley, Michael Sheil, Deklin Smith, and Isaac Tucker.

Shenandoah University Celebrates New Inductees Of Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society

Shenandoah University welcomed 31 new inductees into the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) national leadership honor society on Sunday, Feb. 9. ODK recognizes sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students and alumni who excel in leadership and academics. Students selected to Omicron Delta Kappa must meet the honor society's leadership values of collaboration, inclusivity, integrity, scholarship and service. Additionally, they must be in the top 35% of their class and demonstrate leadership in at least one of the five pillars of campus life: academics and research; athletics; service to campus and community; communications; and creative and performing arts. To become a member, students can self-nominate or be nominated by a faculty member, staff member or current ODK member. Nominees are then selected for induction through an application process.

Shenandoah Inducts New Members Of Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society

Shenandoah University inducted 14 students into the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) national leadership honor society on Sunday, Feb. 4. Juniors, seniors, graduate students and alums were nominated by faculty and staff for excelling in both leadership and academics, and members were selected to ODK through an application process. Students selected to be a member of Omicron Delta Kappa must meet the honor society's leadership values of collaboration, inclusivity, integrity, scholarship and service. Additionally, they must be in the top 35% of their class and demonstrate leadership in at least one of the five pillars of campus life: academics, athletics, service, communications and arts. Seven Hornets Selected To NFF Hampshire Honor Society

Seven student-athletes from the Shenandoah University football team were selected to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, the foundation announced Wednesday. Mason Caldwell, David Agyei, Ben Burgan, Ethan Bigbee, Demitri Matenopoulos, Greg Van Steen, and Bryar Wheeler represent the Hornets in the 2023 edition.

Shenandoah Announces 139 Student-Athletes Inducted To Chi Alpha Sigma

The Shenandoah University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on March 16 that 139 SU student-athletes are the inaugural inductees into its Pi chapter of the Chi Alpha Sigma national collegiate athlete honor society. Chi Alpha Sigma was started in 1996 as a way to recognize the academic achievements of student-athletes around the country. It's open to all student-athletes who have earned at least a 3.4 GPA and have junior academic standing following their fifth semester of study.

Shenandoah University Chooses New Members for Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society

Shenandoah University inducted 21 students and alums into the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) national leadership honor society on Sunday, Jan. 29. Juniors, seniors, graduate students and alums were nominated by faculty and staff for excelling in both leadership and academics, and members were selected to ODK through an application process. SU Vice President of Student Affairs Yolanda Barbier Gibson, D.A., was inducted as an Horonis Causa, or honorary member, for her endless commitment to student development, leadership, and service to the Winchester community. Students selected to be a member of Omicron Delta Kappa must meet the honor society's leadership values of collaboration, inclusivity, integrity, scholarship and service. Additionally, they must be in the top 35% of their class and demonstrate leadership in at least one of the five pillars of campus life: academics, athletics, service, communications and arts.
